Associating a project management work item with a rule at rule check-in

You can associate a rule with a project management work item, such as a bug or a user story, when you check in that rule. You can also associate a work item with more than one rule when you check in files in bulk. When you associate a rule with a work item, the rule is linked to any features that are associated with that work item.

1. On the form of a checked out rule, click Check in.
2. In the Work item to associate field, enter or select the name of the work item that you want to link to the rule.
3. Click Check in to link the work item with the rule and check in the rule.
